CALEY O'DWYER is a faculty member in the University of Southern California's Writing Program, where he teaches Advanced Writing in the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as lower-division writing. This is his tenth consecutive year teaching. Previous to his work at USC, he taught at the University of California at Irvine for seven years where he served four years as an Assistant Course Director and three as editor of A Student Guide to Writing at UCI. In addition to teaching writing, he has also trained and mentored graduate student teachers and new lecturers for six years (at UCI and USC). He is a published poet (his first book of poems, Full Nova, is available from Orchises Press) and has published an essay in Computers and Composition.
